H. Pylori and Parkinson's

The common stomach bacteria H. Pylori (50% of people worldwide test positive) has recently been correlated to worsening of Parkinson's disease symptoms (Parkinsonism and Related Disorders, December, 2014).  They called this study the largest cross-sectional study to date showing the correlation.  An interesting question is why would it worsen symptoms?  My own theory would be by increasing endotoxin in the gut, which increases oxidative stress and inflammation in the brain.  Remember that not everyone that has H. Pylori will have gastric symptoms.
