Organic Versus Non-Organic

A new study in the British Journal of Nutrition has found that organic produce contains up to 69% more antioxidants, is four times less likely to contain pesticide residue, and has significantly lower levels of the heavy metal, cadmium, compared to non-organic produce.  This would seem like an obvious thing, but the issue has been debated extensively over the last few decades.  One thing that you may not have known about the heavy metal, Cadmium, is that it has been correlated to breast cancer, since it has estrogenic effects in the body.
