Gluten Sensitivity and Depression

I did mention this study in the previous blog post, but it's so interesting to me that I felt it was worth it's own post.  A study published May of 2014 in Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, which was a randomized clinical trial, suggested that non-celiac gluten sensitivity may cause depression.  While "gluten sensitivity" is still looked at skeptically by many in the medical community, you can add this study to the list of studies suggesting that gluten sensitivity is a real phenomenon.  What I suggest to people is this:  What do you have to lose by cutting out gluten to see if you feel better?
